Attorneys Honored for Work on Boeing Deal

The Charleston Metro Chamber recognized Nexsen Pruet attorneys Stephanie Eames and Ric Tapp at the annual Legislative Reception on Thursday January 14th at the South Carolina Aquarium.  Eames and Tapp were part of the team of Nexsen Pruet attorneys who worked with Boeing officials and state leaders to negotiate the historic deal.

The Chamber recognized them for "leadership and commitment in advancing the economy of South Carolina by working tirelessly to negotiate the $450 million incentive package that resulted in the Boeing 787 Expansion Aircraft Assembly plant in North Charleston resulting in the single largest capital investment in South Carolina history."

Along with Eames and Tapp, the Chamber also honored Senators Hugh Leatherman, Glenn McConnell, Larry Grooms, Paul Campbell and Speaker of the House Bobby Harrell for leadership in getting the incentives passed by the state legislature.
