"Casual Fridays with a Purpose" and "Midlands Finds Creative Ways to Help Haiti"

On Friday January 15th, Columbia TV stations WLTX and WOLO reported on fundraisers for Haiti held at Nexsen Pruet and Ag First Farm Credit Bank.

Nexsen Pruet raised more than $3200 that is being donated to the America Red Cross for relief efforts in Haiti.  Employees who donated at least $5 were allowed to "dress down" and wear blue jeans to work.

Nexsen Pruet regularly holds "Jeans Day" fundraisers at its offices across the Carolinas to benefit various charities such as The March of Dimes, Harvest Hope Food Bank and the Susan G. Komen Foundation.
