On November 16th, GoUpstate.com featured an Associated Press article entitled "Maserati driver gets probation after his car killed man in his home." Nexsen Pruet attorney Billy Wilkins defended John Ludwig in the case.
Ludwig was sentenced to three years probation, 500 hours of community service and surrendered his driver's license for five years. After dropping an initial murder charge, 13th Circuit Solicitor Bob Arial asked the court for the maximum of ten years in prison on a reckless homicide charge.
