"McLeod Plantation sale will protect site, ensure access" Katharine S. Robinson and Bradish J. Waring Charleston The Post and Courier September 26, 2009

Nexsen Pruet attorney Brad Waring co-authored an editorial for the September 26th edition of Charleston's The Post and Courier entitled "McLeod Plantation sale will protect site, ensure access." On Friday September 25th, the Historic Charleston Foundation announced a that the College of Charleston Foundation will be puchasing the land on James Island.
The editorial written by Waring and Katharine S. Robinson begins: "Over the past several years, the public has rightfully expressed its support for the preservation of McLeod Plantation. Since Historic Charleston Foundation's purchase of the plantation in 1993, no one has been more staunchly committed to this historic jewel's preservation than its trustees and staff, expending well over $2.5 million to ensure its protection."
