Nexsen Pruet board chairman, Leighton Lord, will run for South Carolina Attorney General.
Lord says the state needs change at the top. In the first interview about his bid, he told Columbia Regional Business Journal reporter Mike Fitts - "I’ve been very disappointed in the leadership coming out of Columbia." Lord filed as a candidate with the State Ethics Commission last week, but will not make a formal announcement about his bid for the Republican nomination until October.
