The Greenville News reports on a South Carolina Senate Judiciary public hearing in which Nexsen Pruet attorney Billy Wilkins addressed committee members.

The article entitled "Passions rise in local hearing on state gambling law" reports that people were passionate about whether raffles and other forms of gambling should be allowed in South Carolina.

The paper reports "Billy Wilkins, former chief judge of the U.S. 4th Circuit Court of Appeals, spoke on behalf of the Poker Players of America Association. He said the line should be drawn to allow gambling on games that require skill such as poker."
