Brad Waring Named President of Historic Charleston Foundation

Bradish J. (Brad) Waring, a Partner in Nexsen Pruet’s Charleston office, has been named President of Historic Charleston Foundation.

Waring practices in the firm’s business and consumer litigation groups, and is listed in Best Lawyers in America for business litigation.

He is a former president of the South Carolina Bar, and was named to the Commission on The Profession by The Chief Justice of the State Supreme Court.

He also serves as Honorary Danish Consul for North and South Carolina.

Additionally, Waring is a member of the American Bar Association, American Judicature Society, American Board of Trial Advocates, Charleston County Bar Association, Defense Research Institute, Federation of Defense and Corporate Counsel (FDCC), and the University of South Carolina Law School Partnership Board. He also serves as chair of the FDCC Continuing Legal Education Committee.

Historic Charleston Foundation works to preserve and protect Charleston’s historical, architectural, and cultural heritage. The foundation was established in 1947 and continues to protect the buildings, landscapes, and cultural resources that make Charleston great, while educating the public about the city’s history.
