Grainger Pierce Joins Nexsen Pruet's Employment and Labor Law Group

 Charlotte, NC – C. Grainger Pierce, Jr. has joined Nexsen Pruet in the Charlotte office and will serve as Special Counsel in the firm’s Employment and Labor Law group.

Pierce was previously a partner at Caudle & Spears, P.A., in Charlotte, where he headed the firm’s employment law practice. His experience includes employment litigation, employment policy and compliance assessment, ERISA litigation, insurance coverage, commercial litigation, and construction litigation.

He earned his undergraduate degree from Duke University and his law degree from the University of North Carolina School of Law in Chapel Hill. He has also served as an instructor in the Duke University and University of North Carolina paralegal programs.

Pierce is admitted to practice in North Carolina, and before the Fourth Circuit Court of Appeals and the U.S. District Court for the Western District of North Carolina. He is a member the North Carolina Association of Defense Attorneys, the Defense Research Institute, the North Carolina Bar Association, the American Bar Association, and the Mecklenburg County Bar Association.
