Melissa Azallion Named to Board of Directors for Local Chamber of Commerce December 4, 2007
Hilton Head, SC – Melissa Azallion, a Partner in Nexsen Pruet’s Hilton Head office, has been named to a three-year term on the Hilton Head Island-Bluffton Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors.
Azallion practices in both Nexsen Pruet’s employment and immigration groups, representing individuals and corporations from various industries including health care, government, technology, higher education, manufacturing and hospitality.
She is a member of the Zonta Club of Hilton Head Island, the American Immigration Lawyer’s Association, and is a Past Chair for the Lowcountry Workforce Investment Board. In 2006, Azallion was selected to the Savannah Business Journal's "40 under 40" list in recognition of her professional and community achievements. She is licensed to practice in South Carolina, Georgia and Ohio.
The Hilton Head Island-Bluffton Chamber of Commerce offers a variety of resources for businesses, individuals, and visitors in the Hilton Head-Bluffton area. The board is currently comprised of 27 appointed members that oversee activities and enforce policies pertaining to the Chamber of Commerce.
