Two Litigators Join Nexsen Pruet's Charlotte, NC Office June 21, 2004
CHARLOTTE, NC - Peter A. Santos, an experienced litigator with a background in multiple business-related practice areas, has joined Nexsen Pruet, LLC as a Member in the firm's Charlotte, NC office. Lacey M. Moore, also a litigator, joins the firm as an Associate and she will work in Nexsen Pruet's litigation group.
Santos and Moore comes to Nexsen Pruet from Dickie, McCamey & Chilcote, P.C. Santos was a Shareholder and managed the Pennsylvania-based firm's North Carolina office in Charlotte. He has defended clients in toxic tort litigation and also practiced in the areas of bankruptcy and commercial transactions, with an emphasis on technology-related matters.

Santos earned his undergraduate degree from Duquesne University in Pittsburgh and his J.D. from the Duquesne University School of Law, where he served on the Law Review and received the Order of the Barristers.
He is a member of the Allegheny County Bar Association and the Mecklenburg County Bar; served on the Pennsylvania Bar Association's Statewide Computerization Committee; and has taught continuing legal education courses on Internet and technology law issues.
Lacey Moore has concentrated her practice in the areas of commercial litigation, bankruptcy/workout, the food and beverage industry, and toxic tort litigation with a particular emphasis in asbestos/silicosis.
Moore received her B.A. in political science from the University of Georgia and her J.D. from Cumberland School of Law, Samford University. She is a member of the North Carolina and Mecklenburg County Bar Associations. She is also licensed to practice in Mississippi.
