Nexsen Pruet Continues Rapid Growth; Five New Associates Join Law Firm

Nexsen Pruet announced today that five new associates have joined the firm: Brian Anderson and Catherine Lane are based in Greensboro, Michael Scott and Chase McNair in Charleston and Kyle Brannon in Columbia.

Anderson will work with in the Bankruptcy and Creditors’ Rights Practice Group.  He earned a Bachelor of Science from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and graduated with a law degree, cum laude, from the American University Washington College of Law.   

Lane practices with the Business Litigation and Bankruptcy and Creditors’ Rights Practice Groups.  She graduated with a Bachelor of Arts, sum cum laude, from Greensboro College and earned a law degree with honors from the University of North Carolina School of Law, where she was the Executive Editor of the First Amendment Law Review.

Scott practices with the Employment and Labor Law Group. Before law school, he worked for the United States Drug Enforcement Administration. He earned a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Pittsburgh, a Master of Science in Criminal Justice, magna cum laude, from the University of Cincinnati, and a law degree, cum laude, from the University of South Carolina School of Law.

McNair is also an associate with Business Litigation Practice Group. He earned his law degree from the Charleston School of Law and his bachelor's degree from Clemson University. As an undergrad, he worked for E. Bart Daniel, former U.S. Attorney for the District of South Carolina.

Brannon practices with the Bankruptcy and Creditors’ Rights Group. He earned his Bachelor of Science, summa cum laude, and a law degree from the University of South Carolina.
