Employment Law Quarterly Breakfast Briefing: FLSA Update

More changes are coming to an old, but important law: the Fair Labor Standards Act.  The changes could expand who can earn overtime, narrow who's exempt, and affect independent contractor status.

At this complimentary briefing we'll discuss:

  • The proposed changes expanding who can earn overtime; 
  • Who's exempt or not exempt fro overtime; 
  • Keeping independent contractors from being misclassified as employees;
  • Consider other options to control payroll costs.

HRCI and SHRM credit available.

Breakfast will be from 7:30 until 8am, followed by the briefing from 8 until 9am.
