Greg Higgins concentrates his practice in the areas of construction law and commercial litigation. Mr. Higgins's work is primarily in litigation, however, he also performs some contract review and drafting. He represents owners, design professionals, subcontractors, suppliers, sureties and insurers on various projects across the country such as highways and bridges, high rise commercial structures, hotels, malls, churches, and water and sewer plants.
Mr. Higgins received his J.D. from Wake Forest University where he served as Articles Editor on the Law Review and was a member of the Moot Court Board.
Mr. Higgins makes presentations on commercial litigation and construction related topics to clients and various trade groups and professional associations, including Half Moon Seminars, Lorman Education Services and the North Carolina Professional Plumbers Association. Mr. Higgins is a member of the Construction Law Council for the North Carolina Bar Association's Construction Law Section and was an editor of the Change Order, which is its newsletter, during 2005 and 2006.
