Robert D. Lyerly Jr. practices in the firm's Tax and Estate Planning Groups. He advises clients on matters primarily related to taxation, estate planning, and wealth transfer.
Mr. Lyerly earned his A.B. Accounting degree, valedictorian, from Pfeiffer University and his M.B.A. and law degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
Prior to joining Nexsen Pruet he was a partner at PricewaterhouseCoopers in Charlotte and worked there for more than 20 years.
Mr. Lyerly and his wife, Sandy, live just south of Charlotte in Indian Trial. They have three adult children. Mr. Lyerly is active in church, community and charitable affairs in the Charlotte area.
