Practices

Manton Grier practices in the areas of business and commercial litigation with an emphasis on appellate practice.  He also practices in the area of electric-utility law, focusing on cooperative organizations.  He is licensed to practice in the state courts of South Carolina, the District Court of South Carolina, and the Fourth Circuit Court of Appeals. 

Manton received his Juris Doctor from the University of South Carolina School of Law.  While in law school, he was a member of the Order of the Wig and Robe and an editor for the South Carolina Law Review. 

He has published articles in the South Carolina Law Review and the Journal of Internet Law. 

In his spare time, Manton enjoys spending time with his wife and young daughter and pulling for the University of South Carolina Gamecocks.
