Andrew Howle focuses his practice in the areas of corporate law, corporate finance, business law, mergers and acquisitions, and other transactional work.  Howle brings substantial business experience to these areas of practice, since prior to joining the firm, he was president and owner of a company that designs and manufactures durable medical equipment and sells that equipment throughout the industrialized world.

Howle has served as an Honors Writing Scholar with the University of North Carolina School of Law, where he advised first-year law students on legal writing.  He served as a Judicial Extern for The Honorable W. Earl Britt, U.S. District Court Judge for the Eastern District of North Carolina. He also served as a Judicial Intern with the Office of the Appellate [Public] Defender, where he assisted in the appeal process for indigent clients.

Howle is also a veteran of the U.S. Army, having served in the 7th Special Forces Group at Fort Bragg and abroad.
