Chaun W. Pflug practices in Nexsen Pruet’s Charleston office and works in the real estate, wireless communications, environmental, and litigation practice groups.
Previously, Mr. Pflug worked with a law firm where he counseled local, regional, and national residential and commercial developers. He also worked as outside counsel to the S.C. Department of Health and Environmental Control in federal court cases involving Superfund and handled RCRA related issues.
Mr. Pflug's experience includes residential, industrial, and commercial real estate transactions and business, real estate and environmental litigation work. Additionally, he has handled complex real property transactions, worked on environmental issues related to a major project in the Neck Area of Charleston, and negotiated a planned unit development agreement with the Town of Moncks Corner.
While in law school, Mr. Pflug served as a clerk in the New York Mayor's Office of Environmental Coordination, where he conducted legal research on city and state environmental issues during the administrations of Rudolph Giuliani and Michael Bloomberg.
He is a member of the American Bar Association, Charleston County Bar Association, and South Carolina Bar Association. He is a former member of the Charleston Trident Home Builders Association and Rotary Club of Charleston.
