Mr. Epps practices in the areas of federal taxation, state and local taxation, estate planning, mergers and acquisitions  and general corporate law.  

Mr. Epps earned his Bachelor of Science, with a concentration in finance, from the Darla Moore School at the University of South Carolina.  He received his J.D. from the University of South Carolina School of Law where he served on the editorial board of the South Carolina Law Review, worked as research assistant to Professor Bill Quirk and received the CALI Award (formerly AmJur) for Property I.

After receiving his J.D., Mr. Epps went on to earn his Master of Laws degree (LL.M.), in Taxation, from the New York University School of Law.

Prior to commencing his legal career, Mr. Epps was a banker with SouthTrust Bank in Charleston, South Carolina.  During his banking career he was promoted several times, eventually serving as credit analysis manager for the state of South Carolina.
