Jonathan L. Yates is a member in the firm’s real estate practice group and focuses his practice on telecommunications and land use issues.
Mr. Yates’ background in the telecommunications industry is broad-based and includes all matters related to placing wireless networks in the Carolinas and Georgia. In his land-use practice, he has assisted in the permitting of large multi-use commercial developments and residential developments. Mr. Yates has appeared successfully before virtually every county planning commission, zoning board, and elected body in North Carolina, South Carolina, and Coastal Georgia.
Mr. Yates is a frequent speaker, with his most recent speaking engagement being a lecture on environmental issues for Clemson's College of Engineering.
