John Sowards practices in the areas of real estate, corporate and finance law.
He represents commercial lenders, real estate developers and corporations on a variety of matters. His practice includes extensive experience with shopping center and hotel development and management issues, as well as all aspects of commercial lending including troubled debt restructuring and workouts.
Mr. Sowards grew up in Texas, received his undergraduate degree in political science from the University of Tennessee and received his law degree from the University of South Carolina School of Law. He is active in his community and church and serves as a leader in a Boy Scout troop and as a youth sports coach.
Mr. Sowards is married and has two sons.
