R. Kent Porth practices in the area of taxation, with an emphasis on employee benefits.
Mr. Porth received his undergraduate degree in accounting from the University of South Carolina, attending as a Carolina Scholar. Mr. Porth received his law degree from the University of South Carolina School of Law, where he was Managing Editor of the South Carolina Law Review, a member of the Order of the Coif and recipient of the Arthur B. Custy Tax Award as the outstanding tax student. He received his L.L.M. degree in taxation from New York University Law School.
Mr. Porth has lectured extensively on tax and employee benefit matters.
