Larry Cobb Recognized as 50 Year Lawyer Raleigh July 7, 2009

Nexsen Pruet attorney Larry Cobb is recognized by the Wake County Bar Association.
At a luncheon on July 7, the Wake County Bar held a program to honor seven attorneys who were admitted to the Bar in 1958. The bar says the attorneys “exemplify the kind of excellence, integrity and professionalism that our profession has always honored and esteemed.”
In addition Cobb, those recognized are: The Hon. W. Earl Britt, Clyde Smith, Jr., The Hon. William A. Creech, William F. Briley, Herbert L. Toms, Jr. and L. Bruce McDaniel.
While serving in the N.C. House of Representatives and in the N.C. Senate, Larry Cobb was elected as Minority Leader of both bodies. From 1989 until 1997 he was a member of the N.C. Utilities Commission.
