Lord Re-Elected State Chairman of Economic Security 2000

The law firm of Nexsen Pruet Jacobs & Pollard, LLP is pleased to announce that W. Leighton Lord III has been re-elected State Chairman of Economic Security 2000, a national bi-partisan grass roots organization to save Social Security. South Carolina was one of the first states in the nation to open its own Economic Security 2000 office thanks to the generous support and contribution by the Nexsen Pruet Jacobs & Pollard law firm located in Columbia.

Leighton Lord practices in the areas of corporate, partnership and real estate law with special emphasis in real estate finance, real estate development and leasing. Mr. Lord is admitted to practice in South Carolina and Delaware. He received his law degree from Vanderbilt University with honors and clerked for the Delaware Court of Chancery following law school. He practiced corporate litigation in Wilmington, Delaware before serving for three years as staff counsel to the U.S. Senate Permanent Subcommittee on Investigations. His civic activities include serving as the South Carolina Chairman of Economic Security 2000, State board member of the Easter Seals Society and president of the board of directors for Trustus Theatre.
