Tom Stephenson Elected Chairman of MUSC Board of Trustees

Nexsen Pruet is pleased to announce that attorney Tom Stephenson has been elected Chairman of the Medical University of South Carolina’s Board of Trustees. MUSC is the oldest medical school in the South.

Stephenson is a member (partner) of the firm and practices in Greenville as part of the Employment and Labor Law and Business Litigation groups. He has served on the MUSC board since 1998 as a representative from Congressional District 4 and as vice-chairmain.

"MUSC is one of the finest medical institutions in the Southeast. Its hospital was recently recognized by U.S. News and World Report as one of the nation's best. Its medical school is also national recognized," said Stephenson. "As a lifelong South Carolinian, I am honored to serve such a highly respected institution as MUSC."
