Nexsen Pruet donated more than $700 in school supplies to Memminger Elementary School in Charleston. Employees collected donations and cash for the school supply drive which was part of the firm’s on-going support of the school.

Crews are renovating the school’s downtown campus, so Memminger moved to what used to be Brentwood Middle School on Leeds Avenue. “We are very excited to be in a new building, new facility, transitioning our students from downtown to the North Charleston campus,” said Principal Anthony Dixon.

“This is an important year for everyone at Memminger as they strive to meet adequate yearly progress for the third year in a row,” said Nexsen Pruet attorney Amy Jowers, who organized the firm’s school supply drive. “We hope that by providing children with the supplies they need, the year will start off right and Memminger’s students and teachers will be on the path toward another successful year.”
