Governor Holshouser Scholarship Awarded

Dr. Patricia Mitchell, Co-Chair of the NCEDA Professional Development Committee and  Tiffany H. McNeill, the 2010  Governor James E. Holshouser Professional Development Scholarship recipient

The North Carolina Economic Developers Association has awarded the 2010 Governor James E. Holshouser Professional Development Scholarship.

This year’s recipient is Tiffany H. McNeill, an Economic Developer with the NC Department of Commerce.  The NCEDA presented the award to McNiell at a dinner and reception during the association’s mid-winter conference in Pinehurst on Thursday March 4th.  Additionally, Governor Holshouser attended a breakfast on March 5th for past and present scholarship recipients which was hosted by Sanford Holshouser Economic Development Consulting.

The scholarship provides $1,000 per year, for three years, toward tuition and costs related to attending the Economic Development Institute.
