In October of 2009, South Carolina leaders announced “the most important economic development project in our state’s history.”

The Boeing Company chose South Carolina for a new production line of the 787 Dreamliner.  That translates into several thousand jobs and a $750 million investment in the Palmetto State.

Nexsen Pruet’s Economic Development team played a pivotal role in landing the project. Our attorneys negotiated the incentives package on behalf of The Boeing Company.

When South Carolina leaders gathered for the incentives package bill signing, State Senator Glenn McConnell singled out Nexsen Pruet saying “to work with you attorneys and the way you communicated with us was phenomenal.”
