Andrew Colvin practices real estate, corporate and creditor rights law, with a focus on transactional work, collections involving real property, land use and zoning appeals, resort development, property tax appeals and local government matters.  He represents clients in the Greater Hilton Head area, where he practiced for five years, and in the Greater Greenville area, where he currently resides with his wife and two daughters.    

Mr. Colvin holds Juris Doctor and International Master of Business Administration degrees from the University of South Carolina.  He earned his undergraduate degree in Economics from the College of Charleston.

  • Client Alert: Reassessment May Boost Property Taxes
    In 2009, there will be a countywide reassessment in Beaufort County. Due primarily to market conditions, the Beaufort County Assessor's Office has said it expects a record number of appeals this year. While we hope the assessor’s appraisals would fall in line with recent market conditions, we believe that in many cases your taxes may actually increase.
